Cardboro Bay Park

Keep your eyes peeled while taking in these stunning views of the Haro Strait. Residents dating back to the 1930s claim to have witnessed a sea monster in these waters. The 10 metre long serpent, aptly named “Cadborosaurus”, has inspired books and television shows for nearly 100 years. A concrete replica of this mysterious creature can be found near the play area of the park.

Archaeological evidence suggests Lkwungen First Nations lived on the bay for nearly 2,000 years.
