Splash Victoria Symphony from SUP

Victoria Symphony Splash is an annual Victoria Symphony event that takes place on a floating stage moored in Victoria’s Inner Harbour. It includes musical entertainment, food, souvenirs and the evening’s highlight: a live performance by the Victoria Symphony. Splash is now one of the largest annual symphony events in North America, attracting up to 40,000 Victoria residents and visitors from all over the world, some who visit Victoria just to see Splash! We invite you to a front row seat on the water in front of the stage with a our SUP rental.

Reserved SUP will be droped off at 6:00 PM and picked up max 30 minutes after the fireworks have ended (approx. 11:00PM).

Our intention is to provide you more than enough time to get to the event early and find the perfect vantage point.

August 5, 2018 Schedule

7:30 PM Evening concert begins with Victoria Symphony performance.

8:30 PM Intermission: Canadian Scottish Regiment Pipe and Drum parades down Government and Belleville

9:45 PM Concert grand finale with the performance of the 1812 Overture with firing of Navel Field Guns by the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and fireworks over the Inner Harbour.

Two rental Options :

From 6:00 pm to 9pm

From 8:00 pm to 11:00pm

SUP RENTALS INCLUDE:

1 Board

1 PFD (lifejacket) with whistle

1 Paddle

Head White Light (Transport Canada requirement for night visibility)

Rate: $60.00 for 3 hours SUP rental (PST/GST not incl.)

The “Splash” weekend is our busiest weekend of the year. Reservations are needed and spots fill up fast. A portion of our boards will be reserved for groups and the rest will be available to individual paddlers.

* Please Note – Previous paddling experience is REQUIRED for this event. Paddlers should be capable of a water exit and skilled in self rescue. the return paddle will be in the dark - you may wish to bring your own headlamp and/or flashlight. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance for this event.
